With the end of the year fast approaching (and tax season right around the corner), now is the perfect time for Accountants to improve their Online Reputation to help get more new Clients in 2018.
Since the first place potential Clients will look for you is online, you need to know what they will see when they search for your business. Go to www.Google.com, enter the name of your business, then click “Google Search”. Do the search results show your business has lots of listings, many positive Reviews and high Star ratings on multiple Directories?
If the answer is “Yes”, you’re done and don’t need to read any further! If the answer is “Maybe” or “No”, you need to consider taking some (or all) of the following steps:
1. Set up (or improve) your free Google My Business listing. This listing will appear when people are searching for your business (or business category) on Google Search and Maps;
2. Set up (or improve) your presence on free local Citation sites and Directories that have a high Domain Authority. This will improve how your business appears in search results and also give you additional places where potential Clients can see Reviews and Star ratings;
3. Use a system to request Feedback and/or Reviews from past & present Clients as well as those people that interact with your business. This should result in getting more positive Reviews online in multiple Directories and improving your Star ratings.
You can do all of the above before the end of 2017 so that you will start 2018 with a greatly improved Online Reputation. This will help you look better than your competitors, get more new Clients & improve your profits!
